Linger aims to be that person in the room you just can’t stop staring at, that idea that encompasses your entity, and that place where you can go and be inspired. With its roots in creative writing, Linger is a hub for all things spontaneous and original from creative nonfiction to movie stills, nothing is off limits. Our presence is chiefly online with the occasional print special edition and yearly calendar.
Submit to us your creative nonfiction, art, genre fiction (special credence will be given to PNR--who doesn't love a good romance?) literary fiction, film essays/reviews (with stills), and letters/notes you passed to your high school sweetheart or left on the refrigerator for your roommate.
Memory literally means something remembered from the past. A memory is something that's your own, ostensibly it cannot be taken away from you, but can it? Take Virginia Woolf's advice and use this journal to record your memories from your perspective "before you forget more than you remember."
